YOUTH CRICKET EMPOWERMENT IN CROWN PAINTS CSR DRIVE

Crown Paints Kenya PLC sponsored a six-a-side youth cricket tournament hosted by the SCLPS and Ngara Sports Club. As platinum sponsor, the company donated uniforms and nurtured young talent, promoting teamwork, discipline, and healthy competition. This CSR effort underlined Crown Paints’ dedication to youth development and community empowerment.

TREE PLANTING INITIATIVE

Under its Environmental Conservation pillar, Crown Paints partnered with IQSK, the Mwatsumbo Community Forest Association, and Kenya Forest Service to support the National Tree Planting initiative. Together, they planted 6,000 trees at Mwatsumbo Community Forest in Tsunza, Kwale District, promoting reforestation, environmental sustainability, and community engagement.

THE INAUGURAL CROWN YOUR ART COMPETITION

Misufini Primary School in Mariakani won the inaugural Crown Your Art Competition, receiving cash prizes and a school upgrade. Crown Paints launched the initiative to nurture artistic talent, promote education, and empower communities. Grand prize winner Moses Kahindi proudly received Ksh 200,000, inspiring creativity and the next generation.

SUPPORTING SAMSON OJUKA; A LEAP FOR PARA-ATHLETICS

Crown Paints Kenya PLC proudly sponsored Paralympian Samson Ojuka, celebrating his silver‑medal achievement at Paris 2024 and supporting his journey toward the 2025 Paralympic Games. The partnership went beyond funding, reflecting a shared commitment to inclusion, resilience, and elevating para-athletics on Kenya’s international stage.

RUFF ‘N’ TUFF 7’s: BUILDING KENYA’S RIUGBY FUTURE

Crown Paints Kenya sponsored the inaugural Ruff ’n’ Tuff 7s tournament at Ngong Racecourse, supporting eight community-based rugby clubs. The event aimed to nurture grassroots talent and create a feeder system for national teams. MILE 46 COMMUNITY COMES ALIVE IN COLOUR

In Mile 46, Crown Paints Kenya PLC donated paint and trained over 60 youth in painting and entrepreneurship. The project revitalized public spaces with vibrant art inspired by Maasai heritage, restoring hope after drought and fostering community pride. KICK POLIO OUT OF AFRICA

As part of its ongoing CSR initiatives, Crown Paints (K) PLC donated to the Rotary Club of Malindi in support of the Polio Eradication Campaign and Education Bursary Fund. This partnership underscores our enduring commitment to improving health, advancing education, and empowering communities for a brighter, polio-free future.

ENHANCING THE ANGATA COMMUNITY POLICE STATION

Crown Paints (K) PLC, in partnership with Angata Sugar Mills Ltd, renovated the Angata Community Police Station to strengthen safety and community relations. The initiative improved infrastructure, boosted officer morale, and created a cleaner, more welcoming environment; reflecting our shared commitment to supporting law enforcement and enhancing public security.

THE ARCHITECTS ALLIANCE STUDEN’S GRADUATION

Crown Paints Kenya PLC signed a landmark MOU with The Architects Alliance to empower young architects. The partnership provides mentorship, hands-on experience, and training in sustainable design and advanced paint technologies. This initiative underscores Crown Paints’ dedication to shaping Kenya’s built environment through innovation and education.

CROWNING CLASSROOMS AT MOYO PRIMARY SCHOOL

Moyo Primary School in remote Olgulului began under a tree until a Norwegian visitor funded new classrooms. Crown Paints Kenya PLC enhanced the project by donating paint, furniture, water tanks, and stationery, giving learners a safer, vibrant environment that rapidly increased enrollment and strengthened the community’s educational foundation for years.

CROWN PAINTS SPONSORS KABSEC CHARITY GOLF 

 Crown Paints Kenya PLC sponsored the 4th Annual KABCEC Charity Golf Tournament at Muthaiga Golf Club, bringing together Kenya’s built environment leaders. COMMUNITY LED INITIATIVES

Following the devastating May 2024 flash floods, Crown Paints (K) PLC supported the Mathare community and surrounding areas by donating school bags and exercise books to affected children. This initiative provided hope, relief, and encouragement to vulnerable families, reinforcing our commitment to community resilience, education, and social support.

BRIGHTER DAYS FOR KIBOS SCHOOL OF THE BLIND 

Crown Paints partnered with Jambojet to give Kibos School for the Blind in Kisumu a vibrant new look. Through repainting and restoration, the collaboration transformed classrooms into brighter, more inspiring spaces, uplifting students and teachers alike, and reinforcing hope, inclusion, and confidence within the special learning community.

BEAUTIFYING MOMBASA COUNTY

 Crown Paints (K) PLC partnered with the Mombasa County Government to plant palm trees and paint pots in the Buxton area. The initiative supports the county’s environmental restoration efforts by enhancing public spaces, roadsides, and walkways, promoting greener, cleaner, and more vibrant surroundings for residents and visitors alike.

A NEW HOPE TO NYERI HOSPICE

 A vibrant repainting project and donation of essential medical supplies brought renewed hope to Nyeri Hospice, a charitable organization offering palliative care to patients battling cancer and other chronic illnesses. Through this CSR initiative, Crown Paints reaffirms its commitment to supporting healthcare, dignity, and community well-being across Kenya.

BACKING SHUJAA: CROWN SPONSORS KENYA 7’s

Crown Paints Kenya PLC sponsored the Kenya Men’s 7s team Shujaa ahead of the 2025 HSBC Sevens Series. The partnership included cash support and paint products to mark pitches, refurbish facilities, and implement a school-painting CSR initiative, reinforcing Crown Paints’ commitment to sports development and community empowerment across Kenya.

THIRIRIKA COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL GETS A FRESH COAT OF HOPE

A BRAND-NEW GREEN KITCHEN SPONSORED BY CROWN PAINTS

Crown Paints (K) PLC, in partnership with Adili Group, has renovated and unveiled a vibrant green kitchen at St. Paul’s Children Centre. The initiative creates a safer, cleaner, and healthier cooking space, enhancing hygiene, nutrition, and overall wellbeing for children and caregivers within the centre.
