Information
Mainly used as a lower priced protective coating on exterior structural steelwork, wood and concrete surfaces. Surfaces previously painted with bitumen-based paints can be overcoated with Crown Bituminous Aluminium Paint to improve their appearance and produce a metallic reflective finish.
Substrates: Metal pipes, tanks, structural steelwork, corrugated and flat galvanized roof sheets, bitumen-based roofing felt etc
Thinner & equipment cleaner: White Spirit
Dilution Ratio: Supplied ready for use by brush application. Thin up to 10% by volume with Crown White Spirit for spray application. Stir well before and intermittently during use.
Drying Times: Surface dry in 3-4 hours but will remain soft for a few days. Re-coatable in 16 hours @ 25oC.
D.F.T.: 20 to 25 µm
