Information
Designed for use on squash court playing surfaces. Unlike the emulsion and Chlorinated Rubber paints, which are highly thermo plastic and tend to hold the ball, thereby slowing the game, Crown Squash Court paint conforms to the requirements of the British Squash Rackets Association.
The product can be applied by: Brush, roller or airless spray
Spreading Capacity per coat: Depends on film thickness applied, type of texture, surface porosity, imperfections, temperature & wastage during painting 12-14 m2/l. 9-10 litres of paint should be sufficient to cover the playing surface, measuring approx. 120 square metres.
New Concrete Surface: Remove all loose particles and ensure the moisture content is less than 3%. No primer is required. Apply 2–3 coats of Crown Squash Court Paint, thinned up to 5% by volume with White Spirit.
Previously Painted Surface in Sound Condition: Sand and clean the surface thoroughly. No primer is required. Apply 2–3 coats of Crown Squash Court Paint, thinned up to 5% by volume with White Spirit.
Loosely Bound, Lime-Washed, or Distempered Surfaces: Remove all flaking paint down to a firm base or the original building surface. Treat the area with Crown Penetrating Primer without dilution. Once primed, apply 1–2 coats of Crown Squash Court Paint, thinned up to 5% by volume with White Spirit.
