· Thinner Water Dilution Ratio Thinning not recommended for brush or roller. Up to 5% by volume with water for spray
· The product can be applied by: By specially designed Spraying Machines or Rollers. Brushing is for small areas only due to speed of drying
· Spreading Capacity per coat: Depends on film thickness applied, type of texture, surface porosity, imperfections, temperature & wastage during painting. 2 - 4m²/L @175µm WFT as per KEBS specification.
· Maximum spread rate per coat is obtained at minimum dry film thickness and vice versa.
· Surface Preparation : Before painting, ensure the road surface is clean and free from dust, grease, oil, loose particles, and any other foreign matter. Bitumen surfaces must be cured for at least six weeks prior to painting. Do not apply paint on wet or damp surfaces, or when rain is expected. Always keep the paint can tightly closed to prevent crust build-up.
· Directions for Use – Surface Preparation & Paint System : For general road surfaces, start by repairing joint sealings, cracks, cavities, and crevices using appropriate materials. Asphalt surfaces should be cured for a minimum of six weeks. Muddy roads should be cleaned thoroughly using a pressurized water jet and allowed to dry completely. Sweep off dust particles with a broom and remove finer particles using pressurized air.
· Paint Application : No primer is required for general road surfaces. Apply one coat of Crown WB Acrylic Roadline Paint at a film thickness of 175 µm. Ensure even coverage and allow adequate drying between coats if multiple applications are needed.
