Information
Ideal for use on school boards and wrought ironwork but may be used on a variety of other surfaces where a dense matt black finish is required.
Substrates: Suitably primed and undercoated cement plaster, concrete, wood, and steel.
Thinner & equipment cleaner: White Spirit
Dilution Ratio: Up to 10% by volume Crown White Spirit. Avoid over-thinning as this will affect the opacity and increase settlement during application. Stir well before use.
Drying Times: Surface dry <16hrs
The product can be applied by: Brush, roller or airless spray
Spreading Capacity per coat: Depends on film thickness applied, type of texture, surface porosity, imperfections, temperature & wastage during painting 13– 15 m2/l when applied over Crown Undercoat on a smooth surface.
Maximum spread rate per coat is obtained at minimum dry film thickness and vice versa.
Excellent opacity.
Attractive matt finish.
Provides excellent “grip” for chalk. Smooth surface which provides for easy chalk removal leaving no marks.
